AtlantiCare is seeking a Supervisor, Surgical Services Procurement & Contracts with a minimum of 4 years of contract/purchasing experience to join our team.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the quality of department projects, contracts and products according to established policies and procedures as requested by Surgical Services.
  • Supervises the dedicated supply chain staff responsible for the daily supply chain operations within surgical services, including requisitioning, inventory and delivery of all OR supplies, and is an active member of the Surgical Value Analysis (SVA) committee.
  • Works with the Surgical Services Clinical Resource Manager and Leadership team on supply cost management projects.
  • Obtains quotes for new items.
  • Responsible for procurement and tracking protocols on human tissue.
  • Develops and obtains competitive bids, performs cost analyses and resolves invoice issues. 
  • Submits and maintains accurate contract pricing and delivery schedule, and works with management to coordinate and facilitate contract implementation for AtlantiCare. 
  • Responsible for coordinating annual inventory and maintaining expired inventory reports.
  • Supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation within Supply Chain and Surgical Services.
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or related healthcare degree.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Certified Materials and Resource Professional certification required within 1 year from date of hire.
  • 4-7 years of contract/purchasing experience; surgical experience preferred.
  • Advanced, proficient Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with benchmarking tools.
  • Demonstrates and maintains technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
