The John Templeton Foundation provides support for research and the dissemination of research in a variety of areas. Typically, projects involving research and dissemination do so in the context of different, specific Big Questions that lie within and at the intersection of multiple disciplines. More specifically, the Foundation supports work that seeks to uncover the fundamental nature of reality, including work in physics, biology, philosophy, theology, mathematics, and the social and human sciences. In addition, the Foundation supports research and programs in areas such as Freedom and Free Enterprise, Genetics, and the discovery and nurturing of Exceptional Cognitive Talent and Creativity.

Reporting to the Senior Managing Director, Investments, the Administrative Associate will support the daily operations of the Investments department. The Administrative Associate is responsible for preparing and distributing committee meeting materials, collecting and compiling managers' monthly performance data, performing entry-level performance analyses using investment software programs, and interacting with the Foundation's investment managers, administrators, and custodian banks on investment-related matters. In addition, the Administrative Associate will organize and manage investment files, records and databases; maintain departmental calendars; make travel arrangements; and prepare presentations.

The successful candidate for this role has a demonstrated ability to work directly with senior-level staff, is detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, and has exceptional interpersonal, communication, administrative, organizational, and editing skills. A proven ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality is essential. A bachelor's degree or 3-5+ years' experience, preferably in a financial setting, is required.
