In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing University balance sheet activity, researching emerging accounting and tax issues, patient care and fringe benefit accounting, and assisting investment accounting and financial reporting, as well as special projects. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing balance sheets for accuracy and completeness, resolving open items, staying abreast of emerging accounting and tax issues, financial statements and tax returns for compliance, and fringe benefit expenses and withholding accounts for accuracy.
  • Cross-training for endowment, post-retirement, malpractice, and pledge accounting.
  • Assisting with overhead allocation reporting, surveys, and special projects.
  • Analyzing Temple University Physician practice financial statements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 4 years of experience.
  • CPA and recent public accounting experience preferred.
